Message in a driver is a custom-made suspended lamp designed to fully expose the technical components of its foundation. The electrical wires are completely visible and the driver is stored in a transparent cylinder that works as a pendulum, giving the lamp the needed weight to prevent it from swaying. In doing so, attention is drawn towards, rather than away from, the essential elements of light.
In the Metal model, the aluminium heatsink becomes the profile itself, complemented by a milky diffuser and transparent cylindrical pendulum, in which driver and cabling are housed. The result is an indirect and neutral light that boasts rather than vindicates the technology responsible for its glow.
